How far in advance should I book my move?
We recommend booking as early as possible, particularly during busy periods such as the summer months and the end of the month when demand is highest. However, we always do our best to accommodate short-notice moves where we can.
Do you offer packing services?
Yes, we offer two packing options. Our Full Packing Service covers the entire contents of your home, while our Fragile Packing Service focuses on items such as glassware, ornaments and kitchen contents.

We can also supply high-quality moving boxes and packing paper if you prefer to pack your belongings yourself.

Do you dismantle and reassemble furniture?
Yes. Large items such as wardrobes and bed frames often need to be dismantled in order to move them safely. We offer a Furniture Dismantling & Reassembly service to take care of this as part of your move.
Are my belongings insured during the move?
We take great care when handling your belongings and operate with the appropriate insurance for removals work. If you would like more details about cover, please feel free to ask when requesting your quote.
Can you dispose of items we don’t want to take with us?
Yes. We are a licensed waste carrier and can arrange the disposal of unwanted furniture and household items either before or during your move. Wherever possible we also try to donate reusable items to charities or new homes.
Do you supply boxes and packing materials?
Yes, we can supply strong, professional-quality removal boxes and packing paper to help you pack your belongings safely.
Can you move us on weekends?
Weekend moves are often possible depending on availability. Please contact us to check available dates.
How do I get a quote?
The easiest way is to contact us with a few details about your move, including the property size, locations and your preferred moving date. We’ll then provide a clear quote and talk through any services you may need.
Do you move houses long distance?
Yes, we carry out both local and long-distance house removals. Whether you’re moving within the local area or relocating further across the UK, we can provide a reliable and professional service.
Do you move items from storage units?
Yes, we regularly collect and deliver items from self-storage units, garages and lock-ups. If access details or site rules apply, just let us know when booking so we can plan accordingly.
Can you move large or unusual items?
We are experienced in moving large, heavy or awkward items, such as pianos, large sofas, solid wood furniture and workshop equipment. If you have anything unusual or particularly heavy, it’s helpful to mention it when requesting your quote.
What happens if our completion date changes?
We understand that moving dates can sometimes change, especially when part of a property chain. If your date changes, please let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate the new date.
Do we need to empty drawers before the move?
In most cases we recommend leaving drawers as they are, just check for any small loose items, or fragiles/pictures.
What should we do to prepare for moving day?
A few simple steps can help the day run smoothly:

  • Ensure everything that needs packing is boxed and sealed
  • Clearly label important boxes
  • Set aside essentials you will need immediately at the new house
  • Make sure access areas and driveways are clear where possible
  • If you have booked packing or dismantling services, our team will take care of those elements for you.
